Steven Ward (born November 12, 1980) is an American, television presenter and matchmaker. Steven is the center piece of the show Tough Love, an American reality television series that airs on VH1.

Biography

He attended Drexel University and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. Following graduation from college Steve joined his mother JoAnn Ward in the personal matchmaking business. He attended North Penn High School.

Matchmaking

Steve Ward began his training as a matchmaker from a very young age. Steve acts as the CEO of the Philadelphia based match making company Master Matchmakers. The company seeks to build successful long term personal relationships based on the principles of trust, respect, and communication. Steven has been instrumental in implementing critical technological improvements, allowing Master Matchmakers clients to have the accessibility and convenience offered by online dating services while also incorporating the interpersonal matching approach used by his mother for nearly two decades.[1]

Television career

Steve appeared on reality TV series For Love or Money and refused to look at the monetary prize. Tough Love is produced by Drew Barrymore's Flower Films and airs on VH1. The first season contained 8 contestant and premiered March 15, 2009. In the show Steve Ward along with JoAnn Ward offer contestants relationship advice. Tough Love Miami is currently showing on VH1.
